Former Live Nation New York president Anthony Makes has announced the formation of his new independent concert promotion company Brooklyn Made.
has announced the formation of his new independent concert promotion company Brooklyn Made. With more than 30 years of experience in the music business, Makes will launch the new endeavor from his home in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Made will begin operations this month and has already secured two clients for events as soon as concerts can resume in New York. The new company will work with 1,800-capacity Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. and the 15,000-capacity CMAC/Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, N.Y.
Makes added that Brooklyn Made will look to expand outside of New York for a national reach. Brooklyn Made will also be promoting shows in the NYC area in open rooms such as Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, Radio City Music Hall, Beacon Theatre, Town Hall, Hammerstein, The Apollo, Carnegie Hall and many others.
