Anthony Hopkins joins Those About to Die, which is a new TV series that is based on the same book that served as the basis for Ridley Scott's Gladiator.
However, the series will take a different approach to the movie. The official description says that the show will"introduce viewers to diverse characters across the many layers of Roman society where sports, politics, and business intersect and collide."in June 2022.
There is no release date as of yet, nor has there been any other casting news. Emmerich will direct and produce the series while Robert Rodat is adapting the book for the show.However, Hopkins' casting is a huge coup. The actor has won two Academy Awards and was most recently seen in
