Conditions for Sunday - with high temperatures in the 90s and a chance of afternoon showers - are expected to persist through Wednesday. Humidity on Monday is expected to push the heat index value over 100 degrees, the NWS is projecting. Chances of thunderstorms are expected to peak on Wednesday, the NWS is forecasting, after which clearer skies starting Thursday will come with daytime temperatures dropping back into the 80s.A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4pm. Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 92. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
