A second person was arrested for the drive-by shooting that killed 8-year-old boy.
Harris County Sheriffs Investigator Adriel Hinojosa gives details on Thursday, June 16, 2022 in Houston, about the type of car they believe was involved in the the fatal shooting of 8-year-old Paul Vasquez, who was killed in a drive-by shooting, Sunday night, when he was sleeping in his Cloverleaf home. They are asking the public for information about a grey or silver Kia Optima with damage to the right front side.
Surveillance footage caught a light gray Kia Optima sedan with damage to its front bumper drive past the bedroom around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, June 12. “We are assuming there is going to be more than one , a driver and someone else in the car with them,” lead investigator Adriel Hinojosa saidGunman in mass shooting died from multiple gunshot wounds.Perkins was accused of being the gunman that fired multiple rounds into the home on the 13800 block of McNair Street in Cloverleaf.
Vasquez’s room was in the front of the house. He was shot in the chest and ran to his mother for help. He was then taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he died.
