Anne Imhof’s exhibition at Palais De Tokyo closes with a bang thanks to the help of Burberry, theirishayk, and Ricardo Tisci.
During the Spring and Summer 2021 season, Burberry and artist Anne Imhof joined forces to create a magical interactive runway show that merged the worlds of fashion and art. It was everything from beautiful to thought-provoking and sexy to grunge. This fruitful collaboration would eventually blossom into a long-lasting friendship as creative director Tisci and Burberry would go on to fund Imhof’sexhibition at the Palais Des Tokyo, her first solo exhibition in France, which first opened in May.
At the Yoyo Club, the heart of the Palais Des Tokyo, Irina Shayk danced to club beats alongside Candice Swanepoel. Mariacarla Basco emulated the spirit of disco with her reflective, shining top. Nearby, Shygirl and Mahmood were spotted laughing with industry friends. As more and more of the evening’s guests piled into the iconic venue, the night only crescendoed further and further into a wilder party.
For those who know, beautiful crowds with a bit of a wild side aren’t novel to Tisci. And, the evening celebrating the end of Imhof’s exhibition certainly reflected how his and Imhof’s friendship started.
