Did you gym close? Peloton is offering a solution to your workout needs.
Peloton is offering new users a 90-day trial of its subscription workout app as more gyms shut down in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
This follows the at-home fitness company's decision to shutter all of its retail showrooms until March 29. The company says it will continue to produce and livestream classes, but only for members. The fitness freebie doesn't require a Peloton-branded bike or treadmill. Users can choose from classes such as yoga, meditation, strength training and more.
On Monday, Peloton shares saw a 13% uptick as demand continues to rise for the subscription workout company's products amid the worsening virus.
