Some American Express customers will be charged up to £75 extra
American Express has given four months' notice to credit card holders as fees are set to jump up significantly on February 29, 2024.
An email sent to Amex Gold holders said annual fees will jump up from £160 to £195 - a rise of almost 22%. The email adds: "The new fee will take effect on the statement following your card anniversary and will be charged to your card account annually as normal.READ MORE: Matthew Perry cause of death update from LA medical examiner
Platinum card holders can expect to see their fees rise by almost 15% - from £575 to £650 per year - while the Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card annual fee will increase from £75 to £95 per year, and the Business Gold Card annual fee will increase from £175 to £195 per year.
