Johnathan Davis, 8, had been brought to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital on Sunday for treatment from possible abuse when he was taken without permission by his mother, police say.

Police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said in a news release that Johnathan Davis had been brought to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital for treatment from possible abuse. The mother, identified as Donnella Williams, 35, came to the hospital and took Johnathan, Ciaccia says.
