The price of an annual Amazon Prime membership will jump to $139 in the coming weeks.
The company said that more than 200 million Prime members worldwide had streamed Prime Video shows or movies.
The company also cited expanded same-day delivery and other products like its pharmacy delivery service and Amazon Music as contributors in its decision to raise membership prices. For Q4, the company had $137.4 billion in net sales, and $14.3 billion in net income. For the full year 2021, the company had net sales of $470 billion, and net income of $33.4 billion.
