Amazon has slashed the price of a plug-in diffuser that promises to calm stressed-out dogs, with one reviewer claiming it 'takes the edge off' for their clingy pet
Autumn can be a distressing time for our furry friends, with Halloween and Bonfire Night often being marked with lots of impressive fireworks displays.
According to the product description, this diffuser, "contains a synthetic copy of the 'dog appeasing pheromone' which a mother naturally releases to calm and reassure her litter - it has the same effect on adult dogs." One person wrote: "Might be total placebo but working wonders for my dog. Just helps take the edge off when she is being a bit 'extra'. Won’t solve behavioural problems but just helps calm a little."
