New premium and budget models aim to deliver something for everyone
on May 11th, they will bring the price of entry to the Omni range - which sports such premium features as 4K Quantum Dot technology, full array lighting with up to 96 zones of local dimming, and support for both of the premium Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive HDR formats - down to $449.
New screen sizes aren’t the only addition to the Omni range, with Amazon US also revealing that the Fire TV ‘Ambient Experience’ the Omni TVs carry will be adding hundreds of new images to the 1700+ free gallery-quality pieces of artwork it already provides - all without any monthly subscription.
Amazon’s announcement for the UK, meanwhile, reveals that Brits will finally be getting Amazon-branded TVs too. In fact, the UK will be getting all three of Amazon’s ranges: the Omni QLED and entry level 2-Series TVs we’ve already mentioned, along with the mid-range 4-Series sets launched in the US back in September 2021.
