Captain Seamus Coleman has been hailed as an “amazing” example to Everton’s younger players with Under-21 head coach Paul Tait hoping that more senior professionals will follow him in turning out for the club’s second string.
“You’ll never get him just going through the motions and he doesn’t let anyone else do that either. “He looked like he needed some match minutes and he’d probably tell you that himself but he didn’t half work hard and was really positive. He had some half chances but kept going and won the penalty with a bit of quality and then tucked it away so it was a really good, positive night for him. “I thought there was some really positive stuff with Dobbs.
