TV and radio star Amanda Holden has confessed her husband Chris Hughes has a huge crush on former Strictly Come Dancing star Rachel Riley and he has a 'free pass' to date her
Amanda Holden, the 52 year old presenter, revealed on her Heart Radio show that her husband Chris Hughes has a cheeky "free pass" to date former Strictly Come Dancing star Rachel Riley. She made this confession while chatting with comedian Joe Wilkinson, known for his appearances on Channel 4's 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
"You see that is my husband's pink pass. He's got a real thing for Rachel Riley. I would allow him to take her out...for a coffee." Amanda was sure that Chris and Rachel would never cross paths in real life, but Joe thought it could happen since both Amanda and Rachel work in telly. The pair have been happily hitched for 15 years, but they didn't start going out until a year after they first bumped into each other in Los Angeles.
She had a laugh saying he was "rubbish at romance", but admired him for being there "for the solid things" like cleaning her car, and helping her chill out. "He's a proper bloke who looks after me. I'm a strong, opinionated woman, but he helps steer the Mandy ship," Amanda lovingly said.
