Nestlé SA is launching what it says is the first pet food to reduce allergens on cat hair, seeking an edge in the booming but increasingly competitive pet-food market.
. Allergens are typically transferred from saliva to cat hair while grooming, with roughly one in five adults globally sensitive to cat allergens, according to the company.
