Vulnerable students and the children of key workers are exempt.
Children of “key workers,” or whose parents are National Health Service staff, serve on police forces or are delivery drivers will be exempt, as well as vulnerable children who are receiving support from their school.
Colleges, where students prepare to enter universities after compulsory schooling ends at 16, as well as nurseries and private schools are; the government will reimburse them, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said. A meal voucher program will be put into place for children who depend on free meals at school, Williamson said.Key background:
