It 'kicked in' today
Alison Hammond has revealed she is suffering from a health issue which affects millions of people. Appearing alongside co-host Dermot O'Leary on ITV's This Morning, the 48-year-old presenter said she "didn't feel too well" ahead of the show - and shared that she was suffering from "a lot of hay fever".
Hay fever is an allergic reaction to pollen, typically when it comes into contact with your mouth, nose, eyes and throat. Pollen is a fine powder from plants - and Alison has blamed trees for her problems, reports the Echo. Introducing the popular show, Dermot asked: "How are you feeling?" Alison replied: "Oh, hay fever kicked in today."She added: "Is anyone else at home feeling that hay fever vibe? I think it's tree pollen... apparently.Dermot added that it was weird how quickly the symptoms came upon her. She said: "Yeah, it was this morning when I woke up. I felt different."
Alison explained her symptoms as she said: "I had runny eyes, you know, the nose thing. I didn't feel too well."
