Though anticipation is high following its confirmation, Alison Brie admits she won't believe the Community movie is real until she's on set filming it. 'I saw Joel and Danny last week and I was like, 'Joooooel, where’s the script? What’s the plan?''
Community star Alison Brie shares that the upcoming movie won't feel real until they're actually making it. The sitcom is set in and around Greendale Community College, where an unlikely group of friends have formed a study group. It ran for six seasons between 2009 and 2015, after which point rumors of a follow-up movie have intermittently swirled over the years.
Well, it’s happening. We’re doing it for Peacock. We are allegedly shooting it this summer, is the most that I know. I saw Joel and Danny last week and I was like, "Joooooel, where’s the script? What’s the plan?" And he was kind of just bouncing around. I think right now, it’s just a matter of everybody’s schedule.
