Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister took aim at Cody Gakpo 's critics after their 3-1 win over Sheffield United.
A Conor Bradley own-goal brought the game level after Ivo Grbic saw his clearance cannon off Darwin Nunez into the back of the net. The Argentine netted his sixth goal in a Liverpool shirt, adding to his wonderstrike against Fulham, before Gakpo rubber-stamped the win in stoppage time.AS IT HAPPENED: Liverpool vs Sheffield United
"I don’t know ," said the 24-year-old. "We were discussing that. Both of them were very good but the most important thing is that it helped to win the game. Against Fulham they told me it was lucky so I had to prove them wrong.
