Luxury knitwear brand John Sterner embraces sustainability, craftsmanship and design, to bring us all-year-round knitted favourites.John Sterner is the antidote to the disposable culture. A sanctuary for those who want the refinement that real life still has to offer. We take a very humble material, wool, and turn it into knitwear garments that bear an understated level of elegance and finesse.
The ‘Antidote’ fishermen-inspired chunky sweaters are handknitted from organic wool produced on Öland, an island located on the eastern coast of Sweden, where Alexander acquired a sheep farm, and both the ‘Alvaret’ and ‘Öland’ sweaters are created from ecological merino wool from carefully-selected mills in Italy. The collection also includes blankets and other accessories that are part of typical Swedish life.
