It’s no secret that the tech industry in Texas is continuing to grow. AlertMedia, a threat intelligence and emergency communication provider, is one of the latest tech companies to move its headquarters toward downtown Austin.
Other tech companies — such as Meta, Google and TikTok — are also dominating the downtown skyline, with Meta set to have a new home in Austin’s tallest tower by 2023.
“I think it makes a lot of sense. I think people have been itching to get back together over the last couple of years. I think it’s been refreshing for these companies to open up spaces that support the hybrid model,” said Julius. According to CompTIA, Texas led the nation in tech job growth in 2021. It’s projected to do the same in 2022. In 2022 AlertMedia hired more than 200 employees, an 80% expansion of their workforce year over year.
The new office features panoramic views of Lady Bird Lake, Auditorium Shores and the Downtown Austin Skyline. It also includes a rooftop Sky Lounge cocktail and coffee bar, a fitness studio, private rooftop areas, a green roof and more.
