And Provost McAllister admitted it was fun to listen to their memories and their secret to married bliss. "It was lovely to hear their memories over the last 60 years, and I offered them my best wishes for many more happy years together." The duo have four children, Stephen, Linda, Gordon and Colin and they have seven grandchildren - Clare, Andrew, David, Kirsty, Grace and twins, Olivia and Sophie.
