The supermarket said it has already invested more than £125million to cut prices on around 500 products since the beginning of the year.
The budget supermarket has said it will "cut more prices than ever before in 2024”, having already invested over £125m to lower costs of about 500 products since the start of the year - around one quarter of its full range and one third of fruit and vegetables.
Giles Hurley, chief executive officer of Aldi UK and Ireland, said: “We know that shoppers remain under pressure from the cost of living, which is why we remain laser focused on offering the lowest possible prices. In January, the supermarket chain announced it was to cut prices across 23 of its products by up to 13 per cent. Price cuts were seen across Aldi's fruit and vegetables, fish, and household cleaning products.
Latest shopping news Last week it announced it was going to open 30 new stores over the next few months.
