Alaska lawmakers are pressing ahead with plans to sell the state’s investments in Russia:

Alaska legislators are planning to press ahead with a plan to sell state investments in Russia as punishment for that nation's invasion of Ukraine.

“We want to really aggressively vet this legislation because of the lack of precedent and no prior action to learn from,” Kreiss-Tomkins said. “I believe it requires legislation, because both of those organizations are not able to make a social decision,” she said.
