Red pandas, grizzly bears and a snow leopard at the Akron Zoo seem to enjoy the chance to frolic in the snow.
AKRON, Ohio — Animals at the Akron Zoo seem just fine with the winter storm that dumped mounds of snow on Northeast Ohio this week.showing some of the animals, including a snow leopard, river otters, grizzly bears and red pandas, playing and exploring in the fresh snow earlier this week.
The zoo is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily until April 1, when hours will expand to 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $9 per person through March 31. Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
