I’m worried these delays will become the norm.” “We hire controllers annually and have for decades. This year, we will hire 1,500 and next year we will hire 1,800,” she said. “We have recently completed a comprehensive review of the distribution of controllers, which was included in the Controller Workforce Plan submitted to Congress on May 5, 2023.”
