That '70s Show star Debra Jo Rupp will reprise her WandaVision role in Marvel's upcoming AgathaCovenOfChaos spinoff series on Disney+.
WandaVision spinoff Agatha: Coven of Chaos brings back Debra Jo Rupp. Coven of Chaos was announced after Disney experienced success with the WandaVision series. The show introduced Rupp as Mrs. Hart in the premiere episode. The character shared many of the quirky, anxiety-filled characteristics that Rupp portrayed in her iconic role as Kitty Foreman on That '70s Show, at least until Wanda's fake reality broke down, and it was revealed that Mrs.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY According to Deadline, Agatha: Coven of Chaos will feature Rupp, presumably reprising her role from WandaVision. Rupp joins a cast comprised of both new names and familiar faces. The series is headlined by Kathryn Hahn, who will reprise her role as the show's titular character and one of the MCU's most powerful witches.
Rupp joins a growing cast of big names that includes Hahn and Parks and Recreation alum Aubrey Plaza. Joe Locke, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, and Patti LuPone are also confirmed to appear in Agatha: Coven of Chaos. WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer wrote the show and is serving as an executive producer. Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Emma Caulfield Ford previously confirmed that her snooty Westview neighbor Dottie would return for Agatha: Coven of Chaos as well.
Should the series pick up right after WandaVision, it makes sense that so many of the neighbor characters from the original series will make appearances in Agatha's spinoff. Agatha: Coven of Chaos started filming in mid-November and is expected to release on Disney+ in late 2023. With production well underway, more details on the show's cast and plot should continue to come to light.
