Castleton Square Mall has about 14 full-time security officers and around six certified police officers on staff, including an officer with a K-9. The K-9 officer responded to the shooting scene in February within seconds then secured a firearm and applied a tourniquet to a teenager who had been shot in the leg, Tuttle said."We are going to continue to invest in things until we get people to go elsewhere that have bad intentions,” said John Rulli, chief administrative officer for Simon.
