Can Oakland A’s fans fall in love with their favorite team again?
Behind what’s been a productive offense so far, along with some mostly solid starting pitching, the A’s had a realistic chance to win eight of those 10 games, including Sunday’s 4-3 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Maybe A’s fans simply need a bit more time to get to know everyone on this year’s team and to fall in love again after a tumultuous few months.The A’s parted ways with three of their top five home run hitters from last season, trading Matt Olson and Matt Chapman and letting Mark Canha walk via free agency.
What’s been beneficial from the A’s perspective is that at least one runner has been on base in eight of their 12 home runs.
