The Adventure Time franchise has proven that a spinoff series can work, which means that these two Adventure Time characters need a show of their own.

While Adventure Time has no shortage of amazing characters, there are some that are definitely at the top of the list for spinoffs. For example, the choice to make Fionna & Cake was great because it focuses on characters that are both completely similar and vastly different to Finn and Jake. Therefore, the series has the same energy as Adventure Time without being a carbon copy. The next natural step then is for the franchise to branch out to other characters that can do the same thing.
Marceline & Princess Bubblegum Deserve An Adventure Time Spinoff The Adventure Time characters that most deserve a spinoff are Marceline and Princess Bubblegum. Both characters appeared throughout Adventure Time's ten seasons, and furthermore, became serious fan-favorites. Princess Bubblegum is a close confidante of Finn's, and is also the ruler of the Candy Kingdom. Meanwhile, Marceline is a fun-loving vampire queen that also forms a friendship with Finn.
Out of the entire Adventure Time cast, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline are most deserving of a spinoff because of their unique personalities and the dynamic they bring as a couple. Bubble and Marceline are seemingly opposite in every way, from their color palettes to their roles in the Land of Ooo, however, these differences are what make them so good together.
How A Marceline & Princess Bubblegum Spinoff Could Work Because Princess Bubblegum and Marceline only just started their romantic relationship, their romance should definitely be a focal point of their potential spinoff. This alone would definitely bring in fans who were long-time supporters of their relationship. But, on a plot level, a Bubblegum and Marceline spinoff could focus on the two characters going on adventures and explore the world of Adventure Time.
