Singaporean actor Tay Ping Hui said going solo does not mean he will no longer work with GHY or in China.

“It has been a great time with GHY for the past five years,” the 53-year-old wrote on social media on March 12. “But now it is time to move on and do the things that I want to do, pick projects that I am passionate about and work with people that I want to work with.” The actor, who left Singapore broadcaster Mediacorp in 2018, told Chinese-language daily Lianhe Zaobao in a recent interview that he felt it was time to venture out again.
