The Television Academy and Fox have officially delayed the 75th Emmy Awards ceremony due to the ongoing Hollywood strikes.
with over 20 total nominations each, including Outstanding Drama Series. The Pedro Pascal-led series becomes the first live-action TV adaptation of a video game being considered for major Emmy categories. Meanwhile, other shows that received more than 10 total nominations include Ted Lasso, The Bear, Wednesday, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
As for its major acting categories, Pascal has become the most-nominated Latino actor in a year with three nominations, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, Outstanding Guest Actor In a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Narrator. In addition, another The Last of Us actor made Emmy history in the form of Keivonn Montreal Woodard, who becomes the second-youngest Emmy nominee of all time after earning an Outstanding Guest Actor nomination.
