Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie was left fuming by John Beaton after being shown a yellow card that will rule him out of the Scottish Cup Final.

Danny Armstrong pulled one back for Killie just before half-time but the hosts regained control after the break and wrapped up the tie when McGrath's shot went in off Stuart Findlay for an own goal. Shinnie. 32, was delighted to help deliver a third appearance of the season at the national stadium for the Red Army but couldn't his fury after being shown a yellow card for simulation despite replays suggesting he had been fouled by James Balagizi.
