The driver who was involved did not stop at the scene, Derbyshire police said
A cyclist has been left with a broken leg after a hit-and-run in Long Eaton. The collision between the cyclist, a man in his 40s, and the vehicle happened in Stanley Street at around 4.30pm on Tuesday, March 5.
The driver did not stop at the scene and the car, a Toyota Aygo, was later found abandoned in Gibb Street. Derbyshire police said enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver. "Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage," they said. "If you can help with our investigation, contact us using any of the below methods, quoting the reference 24*134099."
