Significant delays are building between the Silverdale Island and Nottingham Knight Island
Lane Silverdale Island and the A60 Nottingham Knight Island. Traffic cameras currently show heavy congestion building up towards the Nottingham Knight Island.
Inrix says traffic is coping well, although Google traffic data does show significant delays in the area. The accident itself appears to have cleared, but heavy delays are still showing. We will bring you updates on this live incident as we get them, which you can follow in the blog below.Google traffic data still shows heavy congestion on all routes leading up to Nottingham Knight Island. That is despite Inrix reporting all lanes of the A52 Clifton Boulevard reopening at around 2pm.
Google traffic data therefore shows an increasing number of surrounding roads being affected by delays, including Europa Way and Greythorn Drive.Google traffic data still shows heavy congestion on all routes leading to the Nottingham Knight Island. The heaviest congestion is being seen for drivers heading from the Wheatcroft Island to the Nottingham Knight Island.
But there are also delays on the A60 leading up to the roundabout. Delays are also being seen on some surrounding roads, including Landmere Lane in particular.Traffic monitoring site Inrix reports that all lanes have now reopened. Lane two of two had previously been closed due to the accident, but Inrix reported the clearing of the accident at around 1.50pm.
