Workers are putting the final touches on the MetroHealth System Glick Center ahead of its opening on Saturday, Oct. 15. The 370-bed hospital will replace the old towers on MetroHealth’s W. 25th Street campus.

The $759 million Glick Center’s design, from patient rooms to artwork, is meant to promote healing and a sense of community, MetroHealth officials said during a media tour on Thursday. Patient rooms have lifts attached to ceilings, sleeping areas for family members and large flatscreens that display the patient’s care plan for the day.
