Glen Kuiper’s broadcast partner Dallas Braden: `I believe my silence has been misrepresented.’
Given the routine level of communication that occurs during a broadcast, Braden said “I was not aware that anything was amiss . . . we have producers speaking in our ears about his what is next.”Johnny Doskow did play-by-play for the A’s against the Yankees and likely will continue to do so until NBC Sports California determines whether Kuiper will return. An network spokesman said there was nothing to report on that front Monday.
Longtime analyst Mike Krukow, a broadcast partner of Glen Kuiper’s brother Duane with the Giants, said he stood in support of Glen Kuiper based on his “40 year” relationship with the family while not excusing the comment.
