Amazon to create 1,000 new jobs in Pflugerville, Texas as it opens new fulfillment centerAmazon.com Inc. said Wednesday it will create 1,000 new full-time jobs as it plans to open a new fulfillment center in Pflugerville, Texas, which is outside of Austin. The ecommerce and cloud giant expects the new 820,000 square foot center to launch in 2021. The center will ship small items, including books, electronics and toys.
