Wild Shore Blackpool is based at the former Blackpool Wake Park and 'provides the perfect challenge of balance and nerve for a range of ages and abilities'
A new aqua park, described as a 'giant floating playground of adventure', is set to open in Blackpool later this month.
Children as young as six, with a minimum height of 1.1m, can participate, although those under eight must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can supervise up to three children.The site will also offer paddleboarding, kayaking, cable wakeboarding, and open water swimming. Cable wakeboarding is where an overhead cable pulls you over the surface of the lake with a feel similar to surfing or snowboarding but on water.
The former Blackpool Wake Park had been running on the Fylde coast for more than a decade. However the attraction closed in 2022 and was bought by Wild Shore.
