'This is not about basic flying skills - it was just extraordinarily reckless flying.' Pakistan's national airline is in the middle of a public relations crisis

Sarwar Khan, the aviation minister, faces criticism for bringing up the issue of pilots’ licence while debating the air crash report - especially when the two pilots on the fateful PIA flight are not in the list of around 141 PIA pilots accused of having fake credentials. Like other airlines, PIA has a rigorous training mechanism for its pilots with multiple stages of tests that include simulator exams and interviews.
