Netflix has dropped the official A Family Affair trailer for its newest romantic comedy, starring Joey King, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron.
as a young woman who gets the shock of her life when she finds out that her movie star boss is dating her mother., the film will be available for streaming on June 28, 2024. This marks a reunion between Kidman and Efron, after previously starring together in 2012’s The Paperboy.
“A surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity,” reads the official synopsis. from a screenplay written by Carrie Solomon. The ensemble cast will also feature Kathy Bates, Liza Koshy, Shirley MacLaine, Sherry Cola, Olivia Macklin, Wes Jetton, Ian Gregg, Sarah Baskin, and more.
Besides A Family Affair, Kidman will next be seen in Mimi Cave’s thriller drama Holland, Michigan with Matthew Macfadyen, and in Halina Reijn’s erotic thriller Babygirl with Antonio Banderas. As for King, she’s also currently attached for the leading role in the action fantasy film The Uglies from director McG. Meanwhile, Efron most recently starred in Prime Video’s raunchy comedy Ricky Stanicky from Peter Farrelly.
