Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's new charity is called Archewell, which sounds like a Bond villain, among other things
I’m sure Meghanare rather pleased with its refined elegance and regality as it rolls off the tongues of gossip columnists worldwide. According to the press release announcing Archewell, “Arche” is Greek for “sources of action”:
“We connected to this concept for the charitable organisation we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name. To do something of meaning, to do something that matter. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon. We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right.”That’s all fine and good, and I rather like Archie as a name for a royal baby .
