The 98 Blackburn and Darwen takeaways and restaurants with amazing food hygiene ratings
As well as restaurants and takeaways inspectors will visit schools, corner shops, care homes, petrol stations and factory canteens - if they sell fresh food they're required by law to be inspected.
Below is a list of all the premises in Blackburn, Great Harwood, Rishton and Darwen serving fresh food which received a 5/5 food hygiene rating in the last six months. Because of the large number of premises awarded the highest possible rating we've broken the list down by town. It's also worth bearing in mind that this list only includes the premises inspected between July 2022 and December 2022 - many inspected before July still continue to hold 5/5 ratings.
