A 9-year-old boy died after allegedly drowning in his bathtub while taking a shower Saturday night, according to Houston police.
Officers said they were called to a home on the 15000 block of Corsair Road in southwest Houston. The child's grandfather had already pulled him out of the bathtub and was performing CPR, according to officials. The boy was taken to Texas Children's Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The circumstances of the drowning are under investigation, according to HPD.
