A litter of fox cubs have taken over their garden every night
A family in Lady Bay has been kept entertained for the past two weeks after as a litter of fox cubs have taken over their garden every night.
The 37-year-old said: “About two weeks ago our neighbour sent us a text saying there’s fox cubs in your garden so we all rushed to look at them out the window. There were four or five then, but, over the last two weeks more have appeared and now there are nine of them.“They play at the bottom of the garden, they like to live under the sheds and buildings so I think they’re living under our out building.
The mum continued: “They are really entertaining, they’re like little puppies, they’re just wrestling and they love the little trampoline. We didn’t put it out for them, it's always in the garden. Now, it definitely belongs to them. Liz explained that the family has borrowed a trail camera which allows them to get footage of the foxes playing out at night. She also added that there's a ‘mum’ fox who patrols at night watching them.
