7 hurt, 2 seriously following Northwest Side wreck involving Chicago police
Police investigate the scene where a car fleeing police crashed near Fullerton Avenue and Linder Street after hitting as many as five people near Grand and Central avenues on Sept. 7, 2022.
Seven people were injured, at least two seriously, during an apparent automobile crash which involved the Chicago police, according to the Fire Department. Five ambulances were sent to the area of the 5000 block of West Fullerton Avenue in the Cragin neighborhood about noon, said Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford.The situation, which involved at least one police officer injured, left seven injured, two of whom were sent to hospitals, Langford said.
