A 4-year-old accidentally shot his 1-year-old brother at their Harris County home Tuesday, authorities say.officers were dispatched about 4 p.m. to the 17100 block of Sunshine Street — located near northeastern Houston — where they determined the 4-year-old found an “unsecured pistol” and “unintentionally shot” the 1-year-old.

According to Gonzalez, the 1-year-old was taken to a hospital with a wound that was not considered life-threatening.that the 4-year-old “likes to play with toy guns and likely did not realize he found a real one that could hurt his brother.”Email Address
