The decorative helicopter landed upside down in a pool, spanning the exits of two water slides, according to video of the aftermath of the incident.
The DreamWorks Water Park inside the American Dream complex in East Rutherford. A large decorative helicopter fell from the ceiling and landed in a pool at the DreamWorks Water Park in the American Dream mall complex Sunday afternoon, injuring four people, park officials said.
The victims all suffered non life-threatening injures when the helicopter fell just after 3 p.m., a park spokesperson said. One person was taken to a local hospital and three were treated and left the park. Park officials did not release the ages or other information about the victims, citing patient privacy.
