The more value your manager sees in you, the greater the chance you have for receiving meaningful work that can advance your career. Here are three ways to help your manager notice you as you work from home:Successful professionals are strategic. They are proactive, not reactive. This means offering new ideas, including ideas on how to solve problems.
Take 10 to 15 minutes each week to reflect on your work and what is going on in your organization. Is there a process that is frustrating you? Are you finding redundancy? Do you know of a software program that could automate the data you work with? Identify an issue, and then think of how you might be able to improve it. Once you have identified a potential problem and solution, approach your manager. Presenting a solution is adding value, and adding value is what gets you noticed.
