Treveon Jones, 18, Jaahdarion Louis-Jones, 20, and Anthony Evans, 21, are accused of being involved in six carjacking incidents from Aug. 17 to Aug. 19 in Cuyahoga County.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — A grand jury has indicted three men on multiple charges connected to a string of armed carjackings that occurred throughout Cuyahoga County over just a few days in August 2022.
At about 9 p.m., Treveon Jones and Evans, armed with rifles, tried to steal a vehicle from two people, ages 46 and 47, who had parked at a gas station near Lakewood Heights Boulevard and Bunts Road in Cleveland, prosecutors say. They failed to take the victims’ vehicle and fled in another car with Jaahardin Louis-Jones, authorities say.
At about midnight on Aug. 19, a 23-year-old woman was walking toward her car parked near Mayfield Road and Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights when Treveon Jones and Evans, again armed with AK-47s, pistol-whipped her and stole her car keys, prosecutors say. Evans left with the victim’s vehicle while Jones in a vehicle they arrived in, authorities say.
