A police chase of a reportedly stolen vehicle ended in a collision that killed one person, Fort Worth police said Wednesday.
Officers responded after a camera identified a license plate of a stolen vehicle, police said, and a vehicle pursuit ensued.
About 1:20 p.m., the vehicle hit a pole, causing it to roll over. Police said the vehicle struck another vehicle during the rollover. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred near the intersection of East Altamesa Boulevard and Will Rogers Boulevard During the course of the accident, three people from inside the suspected stolen vehicle were ejected. One person, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.Email Address
